Have you wondered whether you should get a physiotherapy check up during your antenatal period?

For first time mothers, understanding your pelvic floor function is key to a smooth recovery post birth.

Through evidence-based assessments, we can help identify your individual pelvic floor related risks and guide you on how to reduce these risks during pregnancy. I work with midwives and obstetricians directly so we can co-ordinate your care to help provide the best birth options for you as an individual.

We will also help prepare you for labour, explaining each stage and how it affects your body.

Any concerns found during pregnancy will help shape your personalised recovery plan after birth to help you be able to look after your baby well and help you plan your return to exercise.

Knowledge is power! The best time to visit is after your 20 week scan and again at 34 weeks of pregnancy, unless you have individual concerns earlier. Please feel free to ask any questions at info@backonthemove.com.au or book in for an antenatal appointment with me.
